Horror comedies have ahuge demand among Tamil audiences, and we have earlier witnessed their obsession towards this genre, as movies like "Aranmanai" and "Muni" franchises made it big in the box-office.

Now, another hyped horror comedy, ''Devi(L)" has reached the theaters all over the world on October 07, 2016.

This A L Vijay directorial has Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sonu Sood in the lead roles. Initial reports coming out from the theaters clearly indicate that the film has succeeded in hitting the Bull's eye, and in all probabilities, it will emerge as a safe bet for the producer.

A familiar story

Maintaining mystery is quite necessary while making horror movies, and A L Vijay has succeeded in this attempt. The movie portrays the story of Krishna, a young man who lives in Mumbai. His ambition in life is to marry a stylish lady who leads an ultra modern life.

But due to circumstances, he ends up in marrying a traditional village girl named Devi. As embarrassment crept up in his mind, he hides Devi from everyone and isolates her in his Mumbai apartment.

But things took a new turn when Devi got possessed by a ghost.

Through the body of Devi, the ghost then starts fulfilling her pre-birth desires.
