"Dancing With The Stars" is known for bringing couples together romantically. What happened on Tuesday night's results show is proof of that. After a commercial, Emma Slater and Sasha Faber were seen performing a contemporary dance. Then Tom Bergeron said he was going to let Sasha host for a few minutes. Sasha got down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend of five years. She said "Yes." Streamers began to fall and all the couples and judges ran on the dance floor to give them a hug and congratulate them. It was a beautiful and emotional experience.

Emma Slater and Sasha Farber engaged

It was after Monday's episode when Emma said she was ready for marriage. The 27-year-old admitted that she has been giving hints about getting married. Apparently, Sasha is good at taking hints. The dancers dated from 2011 to 2014. They got back together in December 2015. They moved into a new house together last August. They say it is their fairy tale house.

It is used as the "Dancing with the Stars" cast party house, and they allow it to be used for choreography sessions.

Emma and Sasha both started off being troupe members before becoming professional dancers with celebrity partners on the dance competition show. This season Slater's partner was former Texas governor Rick Perry. They were eliminated last week. Farber, 33, is partnered with the show's first celebrity little person, Terra Jolé and they are safe to dance next week.
