If what a source said is true, Vicki Gunvalson could easily prove Shannon Beador is wrong about denying she was abused by her husband, David. According to someone close to the situation, Gunvalson has evidence of what Shannon purportedly told her occurred in her marriage. The supposed confession came when the pair were on good terms and in a better place in their friendship.

Several episodes back on "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Vicki threatened to expose a secret of Shannon's.

She said that it was a secret that would potentially hurt the whole family if it got out ... and it was recently leaked when Kelly announced to everyone in a heated exchange with the other "RHOC" cast members.

'RHOC' star denying domestic abuse?

All About the Tea reported a few weeks ago that a "rock solid source" came forward to say that Vicki has proof of what Shannon allegedly told her about David beating her up. The insider revealed to the website that Shannon actually texted photos to Vicki of the bruises she suffered at the hands of David.

In her latest blog post, Shannon vehemently denied that her husband ever battered her, yet there are legal documents revealing just the opposite. David was charged with assault and “battery against a cohabitant" in February 2003. He even pleaded guilty to “willfully and unlawfully using force and violence” against Shannon. The source also told All About the Tea that Shannon Beador would go to great lengths in covering up the abuse. She would leave for tropical retreats at exclusive resorts until she healed from her wounds.

Shannon admits to confiding in Vicki Gunvalson many things about two years ago when they were closer, but she insists that she never said David beat her. She continued that if that were true, she wouldn't still be in the marriage. Furthermore, Beador claims Vicki is lying and will say anything to hurt anyone.

Shannon told Star magazine in 2014 that there was an incident in which she notified police when she was arguing with David because she felt if they intervened, the fight would end. She insisted that nothing physical occurred.

When Shannon appeared on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" last week, she played off Vicki's claims as false. Vicki tweeted that Shannon is outright lying about everything. The two women have thrown the term "liar" at one another all season.

Does Vicki Gunvalson really have proof that Shannon Beador was beat up by her husband? Is the source accurate by alleging that she has photos Shannon sent her?

The season finale of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" season 11 airs on Bravo at 9 p.m., ET/ 6 p.m., PT.
