Oprah Winfrey has done a lot of things in her life. Here is one more thing to add to the list. This time, it doesn't involve television. Oprah is releasing a cookbook with many of her favourite meals. You can be assured that some of the recipes include bread because Oprah loves bread. The millionaire's cookbook, "Food, Health, and Happiness: 115 On-Point Recipes for Great Meals and a Better Life" will be released on January 3, 2017.

Why is Oprah releasing a cookbook?

Oprah contends that her cookbook is not just a cookbook.

It is different from any other cookbooks. The title is a long one that gives a very good indication of its contents. In addition to recipes, the 62-year-old business mogul has combined tips for a better life as well as eating well. Oprah said she has already wanted to share things with people so they can have a better life as she does. She wants others to find pleasure and happiness. She believes releasing a cookbook will help others learn the life lessons that she has learned through foods.

Cookbook seems like a contradiction

Oprah has struggled most of her adult life with her weight.

Some people think releasing a cookbook for a better life is a contradiction. For instance, what's the life lesson for eating bread? Some of the recipes include unfried chicken, turkey chilli, asparagus, cured olives, and pesto. All the recipes do not come from Oprah herself. Others have collaborated on the Book. Lady Gaga and her father, Joe Germanotta contributed. In fact, Lady Gaga wrote the foreword to the book.

Oprah has had a lot of chefs over the years. Therefore, she called on them to contribute to her project.

Some of those chefs who have cooked for her over the years include Rosie Daley, Art Smith, Mei Lin, Taryn Huebner, and Sonny Sweetman. Oprah believes she has at last made peace with food and wants to share some of her favourite recipes with others so they can also find peace through food. The price of the cookbook that is advertised to contain great recipes is $35 and can be pre-ordered before the release date. Would you purchase Oprah's cookbook?
