Since day 1, a quest for family has dominated the subplots of “NCIS: LA” – whether that involved reconciling old wounds, scouring the earth for answers, or risking life and limb to keep their wife and kids out of the crosshairs. Travanti) are in the picture, you can expect each of them to pop up in season 8.

In fact, Kensi’s (Daniela Ruah) mom already dropped by in episode 3, making her first appearance since 2012. Julia will return again in “Black Market” before Mama Deeks takes over parental duties in “Ghost Gun.”

Nikita can’t change the past, but he will certainly put a spin on Grisha’s present.

“After a Homeland Security agent is poisoned by a notorious Triad assassin, NCIS uncovers a warehouse of counterfeit purses and a money trail to stolen government funds,” CBS teased. “Also, Nell joins the team in the field.”
