The rumors are true, the famous American actress, singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus will be sitting out on the next season of "The Voice." According to Deadline, "The Voice" is changing their panel of coaches for the upcoming season. However, she is set to return for season 13.This is the first time the show has ever brought out two female coaches in the same season – Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.Previously, the show only featured one female – Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Gwen Stefani – as a judge.

Who will be taking her place?

Taking her seat in the judging panel next to Adam Levine, Alicia Keys and Blake Shelton will be former judge Gwen Stefani.Gwen is a singer, songwriter and designer who launched her own clothing line. She is known my many as the lead singer of No Doubt. She eventually branched out and began her own solo career, releasing her first solo album in 2004.As incredible as Gwen is, we can't help wondering how removing Miley from "The Voice" will impact ratings. After all, it has been said that Miley increased the number of young viewers.

The TV audience will then vote for their favorite artists, the two artists with the lowest number of votes is sent home each week. The last artist standing will be named "The Voice."
