Lauren Bushnell is exposing her most vulnerable feelings after her proposal from Ben Higgins. As "The Bachelor" stars prepare for the premiere of their spin-off reality show, "Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?" Ben's fiancee is dishing on how alone she felt once the show wrapped.

Lauren Bushnell sought comfort from previous 'Bachelor' stars

During a time most would think a woman would be on cloud nine after receiving a proposal from the man she loved, Lauren had other emotions running high. The 26-year-old admits to Us Weekly magazine that she felt " very alone" after the show ended.

She was also hurt and confused because she witnessed Ben tell another woman he loved her.

Lauren revealed that it took her a long time to loosen her guard and to take into account what Ben's unique position was on the show. She goes on to say that she's had to work on some areas of the relationship herself when it comes to honesty, conversation, and communication.

Bushnell turned to the only ones who could understand what she was going through -- other "Bachelor" women. She looked to Catherine Giudici (Sean Lowe's wife from "The Bachelor" season 17) and Trista Sutter (season 1 star of "The Bachelorette" who married Ryan Sutter from the show) for support.

Honesty is a key element in this relationship

Lauren Bushnell isn't afraid to be honest and open about her relationship with Ben Higgins. It was also reported that the two are in couples therapy. Lauren says they have their issues like anyone else. With the help of a mediator, the pair work on having things run a bit smoother for them. Bushnell points out that viewers will get to see how real life is for them in the upcoming show that they can't wait to share with fans.

The couple will spend time with JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers when they appear on their reality show set in Colorado. Whatever insecurities she had about JoJo and Ben are in the past. Bushnell had issues after "The Bachelor" earlier this spring, but she's overcome a lot since then as her relationship with Ben has evolved.

"Ben & Lauren: Happily Ever After?" premieres Tuesday, October 11 on Freeform at 8 p.m.
