Kim Kardashian was held up at gunpoint on Sunday, October 2 while in Paris for Fashion Week. The wife of Kanye West was inside a private luxurious apartment when five men entered wearing masks and dressed as policemen carrying guns. Kim was not harmed, but she was shaken up over the incident. She had been in Paris all week with her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. However, they were not around during the robbery.

Kim Kardashian robbed

Paris officials confirmed that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star had a gun pointed at her head, that she was tied up and locked in the bathroom as the five men robbed her.

They stole a jewelry box that had about $10 million worth of jewelry and a ring worth about $4.5 million. It was reported that the jewelry was from the reality star's personal jewelry collection and some had been borrowed for Fashion Week. The robbers also took two iPhones. A male concierge allegedly was forced to let the men into the private apartment. Then he was tied up, gagged, and hidden in a stairwell of the building.

Kanye stopped concert

Kanye West was performing in Queens, New York at Meadows Music & Arts Festival when he received the news about his wife. He had already been 30 minutes late starting the concert and was only 45 minutes on stage when he was told the news. He abruptly ended his concert right in the middle of his hit song "Heartless." He left the stage saying it was a "family emergency."  An auditorium full of people became very angry and began booing when they were told the concert was over when there was still an hour left for Kanye to perform.

However, that has not kept the 35-year-old from being mocked on social media. Some have made light of the ordeal even though it is serious when a gun is pointed at someone's head no matter who it is. Celebrities such as Chrissy Teigen and James Corden have asked people to back off from joking and making negative comments about something that could have ended a different way.
