The Lyon family makes other families in America look boring. They are always involved with drama and most of the time it includes at least two of the immediate family members. This season holds true to form with the storyline of Lucious (Terrence Howard) marrying Anika (Grace Gealey), aka Boo Boo Kitty, in order to make sure she couldn't testify against him. Well, Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) wouldn't have liked her man marrying anyone but Boo Boo Kitty is the ultimate insult for her. And Cookie meeting Angelo Dubois (Taye Diggs) at just the right time to form a connection is more than Lucious can handle.

Who's the daddy?

Let's not forget that Anika gave birth to Hakeem's (Bryshere Y.

Gray) daughter but Lucious is the dad on paper because of the paper that says they are married.  Whew! Did you keep up? Well, it get's better. Hakeem could be losing his heart once again in episode 4 that airs tonight. Nessa (Sierra A. McClain) has his attention but you have to wonder about the motives. Does she actually care for Hakeem or is she using him to get a break in her music career? As a possible heir to the throne, anything is possible.

An emotional reunion

Jamal (Jussie Smollet) is suffering with PTSD after his near death experience when he was shot by Freda Gatz (Bre-z). Remember, she shot him when he jumped in front of a bullet for Lucious after she found out that Lucious was behind her father's death. As a part of Jamal's healing, he is facing Freda for the first time. They were once friends but now he sees her as a danger and a threat.

Obviously, she tried to kill him, but it is deeper because they were once so close.

Who's looking out for Andre?

Andre (Trai Byers) is dealing with his own personal demons at the moment. With the death of his wife, Rhonda (Kaitlyn Doubleday), and his bi-polar diagnosis seeming to be leaning more towards schizophrenic, Andre is in a dangerous place emotionally. He sees and hears his dead wife and is not receiving the support he needs to help him heal. The impending doom seems just over the horizon.
