It's almost time for another new episode of "Saturday Night Live." As we approach the weekend, many people are looking forward to the third episode of season 42, which will air this Saturday, October 15. This will be another episode that is likely to feature some hilarious skits taken from the most recent presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. The last debate, which was in a town hall format, took place this past Sunday, so the comics will have a lot of new material to work with. Many are hoping to see Alec Baldwin and Kate McKinnon again after their stellar performance following the first presidential debate.

Host and musical guest

Emily Blunt will be this weeks "SNL" host.

The 33-year-old English actress is currently starring in the movie, "The Girl on the Train." The movie is based off of the 2015 best selling novel of the same name. In it, Blunt plays the leading role of Rachel Watson. The movie premiered last Friday and took the number one spot at the box office. This will be Blunt's first time hosting the late night comedy show.

For the nights musical guest, Bruno Mars will take the stage to perform a couple of songs. The singer will probably appear in a few skits as well. Bruno Mars has been the musical guest three other times on "Saturday Night Live" and even performed double duty once as both the host and musical guest back in October of 2012.

Bruno Mars has a new album coming out soon, titled "24K Magic." This will be the singers first new album in almost four years.

The title track and lead single was recently released on October 7 and is already dominating the charts. Viewers of "SNL" this weekend can expect to see him perform that song and more.

Hanks and Gaga

For next weeks show on October 22, actor Tom Hanks will serve as the host. The musical performer for that night will be the one and only actress and singer, Lady Gaga. Both Hanks and Lady Gaga have a long history with the show so it will be an episode that you won't want to miss.
