The "Most Memorable Year" theme on "Dancing With The Stars" is always a very emotional night for Celebrities and their dance partners. The stories shared about a meaningful year in their lives almost always bring tears to the eyes of the audience and Television viewers. The performances on the ABC popular dance competition show for the fifth week on Monday, October 10 were enjoyed by all. There will be no elimination during this week's competition. Dancers were elated to hear that news because it means that all nine couples will return to the ballroom floor next week.  

Years 1985 and 2012

Up first was Maureen McCormick who danced a foxtrot in a wedding gown in honor of meeting her husband in 1985.

Her husband Michael joined his wife and Artem Chigvintsev while they waited for their scores. Next up were Calvin Johnson Jr. and Lindsay Arnold who danced a jazz routine. Johnson's most memorable year was 2012 when he broke Jerry Rice's record. Rice, a former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant surprised Johnson by throwing him a football at the end of the dance. This was the first time the two football players had met in person.

Years 2016, 2008, and 1978

Jana Kramer chose 2016 as her most memorable year because her daughter Jolie Rae was born. Kramer's baby was in the audience to see her mother and partner Gleb Savchenko do a contemporary dance. Newly engaged Ryan Lochte stated his most memorable year was 2008 when he won his first gold medal at the Olympics. His contemporary dance with Cheryl Burke was in honor of his mother who has supported him throughout his swimming career.

This week, Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy lost their position at the top of the leaderboard when they danced a Paso Doble in remembrance of Laurie becoming a gold medalist at the Summer Olympics this year. Marilu Henner's year to remember was 1978 when her mother died. It was also the year she began starring in "Taxi" for five seasons. In remembrance of that year, Marilu and Derek Hough performed a Viennese Waltz.  

Years 2013 and 2015

Amber Rose’s memorable year was 2013 when her son was born. She and Maks Chmerkovskiy danced a Samba. James Hinchcliffe's most memorable year was 2015. The Canadian racecar driver almost died after crashing into a wall at 224 miles per hour. Just a year later, Hinchcliffe with partner Sharna Burgess danced a Tango which landed them at the top of the leaderboard.  Last to dance was Terra Jolé who shared that her most memorable year was 2013 when her dad died. To honor her father, the "Little Women: LA" star and her partner Sasha Farber performed a Contemporary routine.
