On ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" results show on Tuesday, October 4, two couples were eliminated. It was hard to predict in advance which two couples might be going home because several couples were in the middle or at the bottom of the leaderboard. Cirque du Soleil was in the ballroom on Monday night. Circus performers were on stage along with the dancers. Couples danced to a theme from the circus. It was quite entertaining.

Babyface and Allison eliminated

The first couple announced to be safe was Marilu Henner with pro partner Derek Hough. Calvin Johnson and Lindsay Arnold were also told they were safe. Amber Rose and Maks Chmerkovskiy were happy to be able to dance another week.

Then the sad news came that Babyface Edmonds and Allison Holker were eliminated. Babyface was not surprised because his dance on Monday night was not good at all. He and Allison received only 18 out of a possible score of 30. It is too bad Allison didn't get to dance longer. She had just come back after having a baby last season.

The next round of the couples' fate included Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev being told they safe. It was no surprise that Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy were safe after getting a perfect score on Monday night when they danced to Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel." Terra Jolé and Sasha Farber were told they were safe.

Vanilla Ice and Witney eliminated

At the end of the show, four couples were in jeopardy. When Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke were told they were safe, they could bearly contain themselves.

Then James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess were told they were no longer in jeopardy. They get to come back next week. Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko were in jeopardy, but  Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson were the second couple eliminated during the fourth week of competition.

Engagement on 'DWTS'

Sasha Farber proposed to Emma Slater and she said "yes." Emma was partnered with Rick Perry, the former governor of Texas. They were eliminated last week. Sasha and Emma performed a contemporary dance during the commercial break after which the 33-year-old got on one knee and asked his 27-year-old girlfriend of five years to become his wife. They bought a house in Los Angeles together last August. After the proposal, the "DWTS" family rushed to the dance floor and congratulated them.
