At least one of Michelle Duggar's "19 Kids and Counting" is following her fertility footsteps. Jessa Duggarand husband Ben Seewald announced they were pregnant for the second time this year. Baby Spurgeon Seewald was just six months old and already a big brother. Jessa and Ben revealed on their October 18 episode of TLC "Counting On" that Jessa was 100 days pregnant when the show was filmed. They didn't say exactly how far apart their children would be but they did share that they weren't ready for one baby, let alone two.

Duggar-Seewald Irish twins?

When a couple has two babies within one year, in two separate pregnancies they're jestingly called Irish twins.

So Spurgeon Seewald and his new sibling won't be quite that close, but still only a little over a year apart. And close enough counts in horseshoes, hand grenades and having babies. With the older child still in diapers, still breastfeeding, not walking without help, it's a ton of work. Jessa probably wasn't nursing that much given her pregnancy (breastfeeding is natural birth control) but baby one still needs a lot of care. Will Spurgeon want to share mommy with a new baby?

Ben Seewald wasn't ready for baby number one

When asked on "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" how they would cope with two little ones, Seewald said they didn't feel equipped to deal with the first let alone second. Is this just more of the famous Duggar-style Biblical humility?

It could be, but it's more likely that he's just being honest. New parents are rarely ever prepared for the shock of parenthood--the work, lack of sleep, worries and stress. Good on Ben and Jessa Seewald for admitting their fears and not acting all cocky and superior about the pregnancy. But they're in for a pleasant surprise--kids who are born close together are usually incredibly close emotionally.

It seems daunting thinking of two kids but in a way it's easier than with just one.

So Ben and Jessa have had a stressful year already--all the Duggars have after brother Josh Duggar admitted to molesting his sisters, cheating on his wife Anna Duggar and porn addiction. Dad Jim Bob Duggar and mom Michelle are pretty busy with their other kids, dealing with Jinger Duggar and her upcoming nuptials and getting ready for Derick and Jill Dillard to return from the mission field.

So who might Jessa call on in need? Well, God first but for a real-time person, probably oldest unmarried Aunt Jana Duggar. She's always there to help, caring for kids and lending support. She was there for Anna after Josh's sex scandal broke. It's good to be helpful and all that, but doesn't she deserve some life of her own?
