On September 19, Angelina Jolie Pitt filed divorce papers, ending her fairytale marriage toBrad Pitt. After 12 years together, including two years of marriage, Angelina cited irreconcilable differences between the Hollywood pair and is seeking physical custody of the couple’s six children, with Brad sharing legal custody along with visitation rights.

According to a report by Hollywood Access, the children are having a hard time with their parents’ split and are reportedly “pretty traumatized.” The same source told Hollywood Access that Angelina is really worried about the children and is trying to stay strong for them, but it is reportedly a really “trying” situation.

Brad and Angelina share six children, 15-year-old Maddox, 12-year-old Pax, Zahara 11, 10-year-old Shiloh and the 8-year-old twins, Vivienne and Knox.

Brad Pitt spent time with the six children

News reports are stating that Pitt, 52, finally got to spend some time with the children recently for the first time since the much publicized split. According to Hollywood Access, Brad spent time with just some, not all, of the former Brangelina’s six children on October 8, spending around an hour with them.

Reportedly Angelina was in the home at the time of the visit but she did not, apparently, interact with Brad.

There was also a therapist in attendance at the meeting, according to sources, but reportedly a representative for the LA County Department of Children and Family Services did not confirm or deny that the meeting took place, citing confidentiality concerns.

According to a report by the Inquisitr, Brad broke down and cried during the visit with the children.

Brad Pitt has been cleared of child abuse allegations

This comes at a time when Brad has reportedly been cleared of alleged child abuse claims. According to a report by the Irish Mirror, the FBI had been investigating allegations that surfaced after Brad and Angelina Jolie split, which centered around reports that he had been “ranting” and “screaming” at the children on a private jet while flying from France back to the U.S.

Reportedly there were probes by the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family relating to claims that Brad had struck their 15-year-old son, Maddox. This report was then passed on to the LA Police Department, who then passed on the allegations to the FBI as they have jurisdiction over air flights. The FBI has since dropped the charges, saying there is nothing in them and that they are not calling it an investigation.

No further visits have been scheduled as yet for Brad Pitt and the children

The source told Hollywood Access that there are no other visits currently scheduled between Pitt and the six children. They also stated that while several reports had said that Angelina was blocking Brad’s phone calls, this apparently is not the case.
