blindspot just gummed up the works for its legion of armature cryptographers. If you thought you had episode 6’s anagram all figured out, it’s time to head back to the drawing board.

In the world of “Blindspot”, civilians who meddle in Jane Doe’s (Jaimie Alexander) skin-tight mural of mysteries are in for nothing but a grim end (RIP David). Viewers, however, can slip into Patterson’s shoes on a weekly basis and solve puzzles from the safety of their homes. In fact, “Blindspot” creator Martin Gero encourages these armchair detectives, carefully wrapping up a clue in each episode title

Episode 6 will actually give fans the chance to decipher the drama’s cryptic clues twice.

Originally titled “Her Spy’s Mind,” Wednesday’s hour received a last minute title change. Now called “Her Spy’s Harmed,” the episode has viewers pulling out their pads and pens just hours before air.

If you’re hoping the season 2 titles will lead you on a hiatus adventure like last year, however, you will be sorely disappointed. Like early “Blindspot” episodes, this year’s titles will merely inform the story.

“They are anagrams this year, and it’s a fun puzzle, because it’s like a word game for these first nine episodes,” Gero told Entertainment Weekly. “There’s no 'this will take you to a website that has this cool thing.’ The first 10 episodes last year were a little poem. This is also that, but the writers have done something really, really fun. It’s not earth-shattering. It’s more of a fun word game; it doesn’t lead to anything bigger."
