Is this really the most desirable face in the world? Granted, there are some beautiful facial features used to create this Frankenstein-like image, but does Kate Middleton's nose really complement the lips of Penelope Cruz? Does Cher's jawline and Selena Gomez's chin really do one another justice? Is the most desirable face in the worldmore attractive than the women whose facial features were borrowed to make this creation?

Too many pretty parts?

For as long as the public has tagged famous faces as some of the mostbeautiful peoplein society there's been someone out there wishing they had one or more of the features of these beauties.

This is not the first generation to be infatuated with a pair of eyes, a bust line or rear end. One famous classic movie star had such alluring eyes that there's a song about them. That would be Betty Davis and those Betty Davis eyes. The song is called"Betty Davis Eyes" by Kim Carnes. It topped the charts in the early 1980s.

Infatuation of the ages...

Jennifer Lopez has one of the first rear-ends that women flocked to the plastic surgeons to have recreated on their own backside. Then Kim Kardashian's butt was the asset many wanted, but who can forget the hoopla over Pippa Middleton's rear end when it debuted at her sister's royal wedding?

Women went in droves to the plastic surgeons, both across the pond and here in the U.S. hoping to get that perfect backside created as their own!

A face of requests...

According to The Telegraph, a new "formula" was developed to create the most desirable face in the world. The image was derived from the nine most popular celebrity facial featuresfrom the requests made to plastic surgeons. Dr. Julian De Silva took the requests of 1,000 patients and computed the nine most popular facial features that patients requested to have duplicated on their own face that wereborrowed from the rich and famous!

DeSilva used Keira Knightley's eyelids, the forehead found on Miley Cyrus, those high cheek bones of Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez's chin, Cher's jaw line and the eyebrows of Jennifer Lopez.

Then the lips of Penelope Cruz were added and the skin of Reece Witherspoon finished this image off. While the "perfect face" is attractive, the women whose facial features made up this image are much more attractive than the image.

Frankenstein-like beauty?

The Hammersmith, West London surgeon, Dr. De Silva, is part of the Center for Advanced Facial Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery, so he gets requests for celebrity features frequently.

Patient's often come in witha picture of a celebrity in tow and request the eyelids, chin, eyebrows and nose, as well as other features of the celebrity in that picture.

It is from all these requests thatthemost desirable face in the worldwas created from. So what do you think? Isn't Jennifer Lopez, Angelina Jolie and the other women whose assets are now on this image much better looking alone than with all their features placed together?
