Usually Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews host "Dancing With The Stars" together. On Monday night, September 26, Bergeron will host the show alone. That's because Andrews will be with Jarret Stoll, her hockey player boyfriend because of the death of his nephew. Surely, Bergeron is capable of doing an excellent job without Andrews, but he will have his hands full hosting the hour-long episode without her.

'Face-Off' theme

Monday night is the "Face-Off" themed-episode when two couples will perform the same dance to two different songs. The judges will give each couple a score as usual. The couple in the face-off that receives the lowest score will be in jeopardy.

The other couple with the higher score will receive immunity from elimination. This will keep them from being eliminated on Tuesday's results show. At the end of Monday's episode, six couples will be safe and six couples will be in jeopardy. The six couples in jeopardy still can be saved if they get enough combined judges' scores and viewers' votes from Monday's show. The couple with the lowest number will be eliminated.

Bergeron hosting solo

There will be more activity than usual with the face-off show. After each dance, couples usually remain on the ballroom floor with Tom Bergeron while they are judged. Then they go upstairs where Erin Andrews talks to them briefly while they wait for their scores. It won't happen that way on Monday night because of Andrews' absent.

Once before when Erin was absent Leah Remini filled in for her.

Perhaps this was so sudden that there was not enough time to get a replacement for Monday night's episode. Bergeron tweeted the news on Sunday night. He also sent hugs and condolences. Bergeron is expecting a replacement for Tuesday's results show. However, he did not indicate who it will be. It would be so nice if the replacement is Remini. Fans love her co-hosting skills.

The "Dancing with the Stars" family also sends condolences to Erin and her boyfriend during this time of their grief. Erin will probably return to the ballroom next week. Watch the popular ABC dance competition show on Monday night to see the face-off and on Tuesday night to see who will be eliminated.
