All our favorite characters will have to adjust to living under the rule of a brutal tyrant in season 7 of The Walking Dead. Negan (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is handing out the rules and regulations, so Rick and his trusty band will have to comply, which will not be easy. While fans will finally get to find out whose brains were bashed out with Negan’s trusty, barbed-wire encrusted baseball bat, this won’t make it easier for any of our other favorite characters.

Just who is Negan’s victim?

Meanwhile fans continue to wonder who the target of Negan’s trusty Lucille actually was after hearing those daunting words, “Eenie meenie miney mo” in the season finale.

According to Vanity Fair, so far it looks like Rick, Glenn, Eugene and Daryl could be safe and we know it wasn’t Carl, as Negan told his guys to cut out the boy’s other eye and feed it to his father, Rick, if anyone moved or said anything. Morgan, Carol and Tara seem to be off the possible death list. Michael Cudlitz recently told PopSugar that Abraham’s character will continue for a while, so he’s apparently not the one, but we cannot rely on that. However, Scott Gimple did promise that the death is a tragedy, well worth all the subterfuge, so maybe it’s Michonne or Maggie’s brains that were splattered all over in the cliffhanger ending of season 6.

Whatever you had going is gone in The Walking Dead Season 7

With Negan leading a whole clan of bad guys and lording over all with a baseball bat, life will not be easy or fair. If you are not a Savior, beware. In the teaser included below, one of Negan’s first ground rules is “You earn what you take,” but of course Negan himself takes whatever he wants, regardless of whether he is justified to, or not.

Another general rule set by the Savior’s leader is “Whatever you had going for you, that’s over.” Of course, as we know, there are several relationships thriving, or about to begin, among Rick’s TWD clan, including the man himself with Michonne. Glenn and Maggie have a baby coming soon. Eugene has been getting braver and is starting to stand up for himself. Daryl already has it bad, over the fact that he has lost his bike and his iconic jacket, and let’s face it, he will find it hard to bow to the new master.

Negan is everywhere in TWD Season 7

Negan goes on to say “I am everywhere,” and it looks like he truly is, plus he is just so darn unpredictable – you never know what he might do next. On top of this, the Saviors, Negan’s trusty crew, will be spying on his behalf, so this means that everyone must toe the line or face the brutal and bloody consequences. Our friends will certainly have more on their minds than mere zombies in this upcoming season.

The Walking Dead will return to the small screen on AMC on Sunday, October 23, at 9.00 p.m. ET and for those who have not yet watched Season 6, Netflix will be picking up that season on September 15.
