"The Real Housewives of Orange County" cast is in hot water over some feuding that's gotten out of hand. Bravo fired off a letter to the stars ordering them to immediately stop using social as their platform for vicious fighting. In the last week, several cast members -- including former ones -- have engaged in very personal attacks. The network and those in production are upset by the conduct of its cast members of "RHOC."

Letter demands 'RHOC' stars quit attacking each other

The letter, in part, tells the cast -- Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Kelly Dodd, Shannon Beador, and Meghan King Edmonds to knock it off.

There's been a war between two groups. It seems that Gunvalson and Dodd are up against everyone else. Things have gotten particularly nasty within the cast after several disagreements. Shannon's complicated relationship with her in-laws following David's affair sparked more discord - as well as Gunvalson feeling singled out by the cast to get her fired from "The Real Housewives of Orange County." This is just the tip of the iceberg.

Bravo warned the cast to stop using social media to bash one another.

The letter explained that it makes them and the show look bad. It's reached a point that Bravo felt something had to be done to get control of the situation. The network goes on to say in the letter that if the cast want to use Twitter or other means of social media to engage with their fans, they need to focus on talking about what's going on with their lives, family, jobs, products, or anything else that's positive. Staff acknowledged that even if the cast doesn't like each other, they need to stop slamming one another on social media. Furthermore, the stars are told to save their vitriolic exchanges for the show or the reunion.

Will bashing stop?

"The Real Housewives of Orange County" cast are still using social media to answer fans' questions about what's going on with the show. It'll be interesting to see how serious they take the warning and whether this will tone down the attacks.
