Nick Viall is going to be ABC's The Bachelor 2017 lead and filming will begin quite soon. Picking Nick came as a shocker to just about everybody, even gossip guru Reality Steve, as Luke Pell seemed to be the likely choice up until the last minute. However, fans are definitely buzzing about this decision and now people are dying to know more about the ladies who will be vying for his roses. Will any former contestants return now that Nick is the man in charge?

Will the nextBachelor feature ladies from past seasons?

It has become quite common for past contestants to return on new seasons looking for another shot at finding love, and Nick Viall himself has gone that route previously. As Bachelor and Bachelorette fans know, he was the runner-up in Andi Dorfman's season and he then joined Kaitlyn Bristowe's season after connecting with her before filming began.

There had also been buzz that Nick had expressed an interest in pursuing JoJo Fletcher as well, and Chris Bukowski is another guy who has popped up to pursue more than one lead.

Other previous returnees include contestants like Becca Tilley and Amber James during Ben Higgins' journeyand Kacie Boguskie back on Sean Lowe's journey.

Reality Steve teases that thisBachelor will surely have some past contestants incorporated

Reality Steve says that he is “pretty certain” that a familiar face will show up to pursue Viall, but it is too early to know who will be signing up for this juicy opportunity.

However, it sounds as if everybody can count Nick's Bachelor in Paradise gal Jen Saviano out.

While most of the bachelorettes for Season 21 have been cast already, the decision to go with Nick over Luke was seemingly a very last-minute call. As a result, producers are surely scrambling right now to decide which ladies might be the most enticing to lure back for another go at finding love.

Which former contestants would you like to see on Season 21, or should they stick with entirely new ladies?

As Gossip Cop notes, Viall stopped by Good Morning America to talk about the journey ahead and he confirmed that this has been a whirlwind and that he wasn't tapped as the new Bachelor lead long ago. If indeed some past ladies show up, Nick certainly won't be in a position to immediately cast them off given his history with the franchise.

Do you think Nick Viall is sincere in wanting to find love during this fourth outing with the franchise? ABC's The Bachelor 2017 season begins filming soon and will premiere in January.
