As "The Bachelor" 2017 season begins its fourth day of filming, more spoilers are trickling through. Reality Steve published a blog post Tuesday revealing the names of two more contestants. One of them will have a tragic backstory sure to get strong reactions.

"Bachelor" contestant's sad history

Karli Gaines was named as one of the contestants competing for Nick Viall's affections on "The Bachelor" 2017. Reality Steve mentioned in an earlier post that one of the women would have an especially sad backstory. He wrote that Karli is the one he was referring to. She's a 23-year-old from Lincoln, Nebraska who currently works as a nanny.

Her boyfriend "mysteriously" died after falling when he was in Prague, Czech Republic as an exchange student.

The story about her boyfriend, Keaton Klein, was published two years ago. At the time Gaines told a local newspaper in Omaha that he was "living his dream" while in Europe. She said his dream was to run with the bulls in Spain. He sought adventure. According to reports, Gaines' boyfriend fell from a 5-story building. No other details were revealed about the incident, but foul play wasn't suspected.

Steve remarked that this story will probably be brought up many times on the show. Tragic backstories usually are brought up thousands of times, as in Emily Maynard's case when she was on Brad Womack's season of "The Bachelor" in 2011 before she became "The Bachelorette" in 2012. Her fiance, Ricky Hendrick, died in a plane crash.

Her story won America's hearts both on-screen and off. The same will probably be true for Karli Gaines and the support she'll receive having lost a man she loved before looking for a second chance at finding her soulmate.

One more contestant named

The other contestant that Reality Steve named as a contestant on season 21 of the show is Lauren Hussey, a 30-year-old from Naples, Florida. She works at a shelter for abused women and children. She has a BA in Criminology and Psychology from the University of South Florida, and graduated Ave Maria School of Law in 2013.

A photo of Hussey was posted on Twitter by "Bachelor" creator/producer, Mike Fleiss. She's seen on a screen test that was taped during Saturday's filming of night one. She's the blonde seen on-screen meeting Nick Viall outside the mansion.

"The Bachelor" 2017 premieres on Monday, January 2 on ABC at 8 p.m, ET/PT.
