Jenelle Evans is reportedly in talks to join a new reality show on WEtv, which is believed to be a Family Therapy-inspired series. According to a new report, the Teen Mom 2 star announced she was involved with a "new show" last week on Twitter -- and she wasn't kidding.

Although there seems to be a major bump in the road when it comes to Evans' future on WEtv, The Ashley's Reality Roundup revealed on September 2 that she and her mother, Barbara Evans, were slated to appear on the show, which would reportedly help them work through their relationship issues. The outlet added that the reality star's boyfriend, David Eason, would also be appearing on the series.

WEtv may have backed out on their deal with Jenelle Evans

The Ashley's Reality Roundup revealed to readers that Jenelle Evans' recent lawsuit threats against "that channel," which she shared via screenshot on Twitter, were aimed at WEtv after the network reportedly considered removing her from their cast lineup. While it is unclear why the network would do so, the outlet suggested that it may have something to do with her recent pregnancy announcement.

"Jenelle is understandably upset, because she had planned to be away filming in October and everything for the new show was set," the outlet explained to readers, adding that the issue motivated Evans to look into a potential lawsuit against them.

Jenelle Evans and Barbara Evans have been feuding since '16 & Pregnant' Season 2

Jenelle Evans and Barbara Evans may have one of the most troubled relationships in Teen Mom history. Since fans were introduced to the mother/daughter pair years ago, they have often been seen in screaming matches over Evans' behavior, her boyfriends, and her parenting.

Jenelle Evans and her mom are also frequently at odds over their custody arrangement with Jace, 7. As fans of the series may recall, Barbara was granted primary custody of the boy due to Evans' inability to care for him herself, and ever since, she has remained as the boy's legal guardian.
