M Manikandan is now considered to be one of the most versatile filmmakers in Tamil film Industry; thanks to his debut movie "Kaaka Muttai" which fetched critical acclaim from various International film festival platforms.

Now, the talented director's second venture "Aandavan Kattalai" with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role released in India and in the US today. Ritika Singh known for her role in "Irudhi Suttru" is his co-star, while Pooja Devaraiah and Nasser enacts other prominent roles. 

The other Movies released in India are Telugu film 'Majnu' and Hindi movie 'Banjo' starring Riteish and Nargis.

A couple of small budgets Kannada movies also hit the screens today.

Initial reviews that are flowing from the cinema halls are positive which is good for the film, even though the screen occupancy is less than 30 percentage. As the movie has succeeded in hitting the Bull's eye, the collections will surely rise in the coming days, and it will emerge as a hit at the box-office.

Aandavan Kattalai showcases a socially relevant theme. As we all know, the modern world in which we are living is very much competitive, and all the young guys wish to fly abroad to get their dream job.

In this desperation to reach the success shore, many of them fall into the clutches of fake passport mafia and various other illicit groups.

This movie solely belongs to Manikandan. The director was in his full swing, and he has succeeded to reap the best from his actors.

He has reportedly researched a lot to find the flaws in our system, and this is quite evident if you observe the movie very closely. 

Vijay, as always excelled in his respective character. Ritika Singh once again proved that she is an asset to the Tamil film industry. All the supporting star cast too did their roles well. 

"Aandavan Kattalai" is a must watch movie which carries a very powerful social message.

All the youngsters in Tamil Nadu should watch this film, as it is quite easy to connect the incidents in the movie with your real life.
