M Manikandan is now considered to be one of the most versatile filmmakers in Tamil film Industry; thanks to his debut movie "Kaaka Muttai" which fetched critical acclaim from various International film festival platforms.

Now, the talented director's second venture "Aandavan Kattalai" with Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role released in India and in the US today. Ritika Singh known for her role in "Irudhi Suttru" is his co-star, while Pooja Devaraiah and Nasser enacts other prominent roles.

The other Movies released in India are Telugu film 'Majnu' and Hindi movie 'Banjo' starring Riteish and Nargis.

A couple of small budgetsKannada movies also hit the screens today.

Initial reviews that are flowing from the cinema halls are positive which is good for the film, even though the screen occupancy is less than 30 percentage. As the movie has succeeded in hitting the Bull's eye, the collections will surely rise in the coming days, and it will emerge as a hit at the box-office.
