Sylvester Stallone has been reported as dead! Reports that the "Rocky" star, 70, was found dead in his home over the weekend began circulating the Internet causing some major panic for Stallone fans over the past few days.

The story was allegedly first reported by CNN and quickly picked up by media and Facebook users across the globe who began sharing the story instilling a complete viral online frenzy. Images even began popping up of what was said to have been Stallone's lifeless body being wheeled out on a gurney.

However, Sylvester Stallone fans can breathe a sigh of relief; the entire story was just the latest in a long line of celebrity death hoaxes that have become so popular online these days.

A new celebrity death hoax seems to appear online every few months or so causing fan uproar by fake killing off beloved popular celebs such as Jon Bon Jovi, Eddie Murphy, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and most recently Jaden Smith and Angelina Jolie, who both reportedly and falsely claimed the two had both committed suicide.

Jolie's hoax claimed that she had even written a heartbreaking suicide note for husband Brad Pitt and their six children.

Again, Sylvester Stallone, as well as all of the above-listed Celebrities are all ALIVE and well at this moment.It is a sad day when these types of terrible rumors are posted as news and get so out of control that it causes sucha major uproar across the globe.

That is the power of the Internet for sure.

At this time Stallone has not responded to the false reports of his death but, do not take this as a sign of bad news, it just means one of two things. One that he is above dignifying this type of false reporting with a response, or two, he is busy, working, maybe filming a new movie, or living his life and enjoying his time with his family over the long holiday weekend.

We are going to go with option number two, especially since he was spotted just a few days ago with his daughter looking to not only enjoy the company but the last days of summer 2016. Never fear, though, we are quite sure that before the year ends there will be at least a couple more fake celebrity deaths reported to chat about. Let's just hope that fake celebrity deaths are all we have to worry about and not real ones. 2016 has been a rough year that has taken way too many of our favorite celebrities from us too soon.
