One Direction began small and humble, as 5 individual, doe-eyed boys auditioned on the mega-hit talent show, "The X Factor."Their auditions struck gold in 2010, as the soloists' assembled to form the mega-powerhouse known as One Direction soon thereafter.

Trouble in paradise

Unfortuntely, the group's growing pains escalated to the point where they went their seperate ways to start solo careers, as the cycle of life and death came full circle. Now, that the boys-to-men have embarked on solo careers, one man has come to the forefront to express his utter disdain over the fact that the group Cowell helped create has completely snubbed him.

Why, boys, why?

The fact remains that the young men have not consulted Cowell over their aspiring solo careers. Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles went their seperate ways, and Zayn Malik became a notorious pariah after he left the group last year to become a solo star a la Justin Timberlake. His solo album recently dropped and he is currently planning on releasing a tantalizing tell-all bio that is sure to take the music world by storm when it hits the market.

Cowell responds

According to The Sun,Cowell was quoted as stating, "It's a bit like I'm getting the hint you don't want me to come to the party. Sorry for making you famous." He also went on to state angrily that, "Look, I'm not going to lie when I hear they're doing something, and they haven't approached me." Clearly, Cowell is bitter about the fact that the guys seem to want to distance themselves from the powerhouse producer and talent scout for possibly insidious reasons.

The end of days

So, as the boys embark on what may be promising careers, and Zayn prepares for his bio as well as a reality TV show, Cowell remains on the sidelines, fuming and bitter. With zero interest in the boys and their prospects, Cowell will likely continue doing what he does best: enraging the masses with his scathing and abrasive rhetoric and discovering new superstars who will likely snub him as well.

A happy client is a loyal one, after all.
