Fans are so happy that Secrets and Lies is returning to ABC this fall. The show ended May 3, 2015, and viewers wondered why they were left hanging. It was not on the mid-season schedule. The series was renewed for a second season on May 7, 2015, but there was no slot for it until a year and a half later. The series premieres on Sunday, September 25 at 9 p.m. As they say, "Better late than never." This is fair warning that some characters aren't returning, and there will be new ones. Besides, there is be a new case to be solved. That is not to say the case left over from Season 1 won't also be solved.

Season 1

The first season centered on Ben Crawford, who becomes the prime suspect in the death of a 5-year-old boy. While Detective Andrea Cornell is still investigating this case left over from Season 1, she will get another high-profile case. That means she will have her hands full.When Tom Murphy was murdered, Cornell was seriousabout finding the child murderer. From the very beginning, she suspected Ben. Tom's murder will probably be solved in the second season. So, make sure you don't miss an episode because there will be a lot to keep up with.Did you watch the first season? Season 2

The drama returns with 10 new episodes with many new changes. Lots of action, new characters, and a new case to be solved will keep fans glued to their television sets on Sunday nights. Detective Andrea Cornell returns for the second season to solve a brand new case. Cornell spends a lot of time during the second season digging up secrets and exposes lies as she investigates another tragic death.

Almost Human’s Michael Ealy and Fast and the Furious franchise actress Jordana Brewster have joined the cast. With Ealy and Brewsterjoining the series, know that they will definitely play a major part in the new case that Detective Cornell has to solve.
