Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, the dream duo in Malayalam cinema is back again to mesmerize the audiences, as their latest film Oppamhit the theaters in India on September 08, 2016. Unlike other Priyadarshan movies which narrate thestory in a comical way, this film offers a unique ride which is filled with thrill and scare.

A crime, an innocent convict, and unending mysteries

Mohanlal is a seasoned actor who has the capability in showcasing any kind of characters with perfection. As the trailer indicated, the National Award winning actor has enacted the role of a blind man in this film.

Unfortunately, he gets involved in a murder case despite being innocent. The remaining part of the tale showcases the protagonist's journey to find the real culprit.

Crisp narration by Priyadarshan

This is for the first time that this director has directed a crime thriller, and he has come out with flying colors in this attempt. The film begins with a song, and from then, things progresses steadily. There are no suspense elements in the first half, but the director successfully creates a good interval punch.

All the mysteries start unveiling in the second half, and it is followed by a jaw-dropping climax.

Powerful supporting star cast

Like all Priyadarshan movies, this film is also loaded with a huge star cast. Mohanlal, as a blind man has showcased a genuine performance, and for him, it was just a cakewalk.

Anhusree has done the character of ACP Ganga in this flick. The supporting roles are played by Samuthirakani, Renji and Nedumudi Venu.

Will Oppamstrike gold atthe box-office?

The word of mouth is good, and Oppam is facing huge competition in the theaters, as several big movies which include, Iru Muganand Oozham have released on the same day.

In all probabilities, it will collect more than 5 crores by the end of this weekend.
