A new legal drama and crime television series is coming to ABC on September 22. Notorious is inspired by the real-life of the famous criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and the former Larry King Live cable news producer Wendy Walker. The storyline is about the relationship between these two people in their professional and private lives. Geragos and Walker are executive producers over the series. After all, the series is about them.


The show stars Daniel Sunjata as Jake Gregorian who portrays the life of Geragos and Piper Perabo as Julia George who portrays the life of Walker.

Mark Geragos is a 58-year-old criminal defense lawyer. He is known for having high-profile clients such as the late Michael Jackson, Winona Ryder, Gary Condit, Susan McDougal, Scott Peterson, Jeremy Mayfield, and Chris Brown.


Geragos is known for being a celebrity lawyer. While Geragos made the news, Wendy Walker made sure his news got reported. She has been known for bringing the latest and breaking news to the public. She worked on Larry King Live for more than 17 years. Walker oversaw all the planning and production for the top-ranked program on CNN. She made it the world's first live, globally televised show where viewers could call in to voice their opinions.

Daniel Sunjata and Piper Perabo

Daniel Sunjata is a 44-year-old actor who performs in film, television, and theater. He is best known for his role as Franco Rivera in the FX series, Rescue MePiper Perabo is a 39-year-old actress who performs on stage, in films, and on television. She is best known for playing CIA Agent Annie Walker in Covert Affairs for five seasons on the USA Network. The trailer for this upcoming ABC series shows the chemistry between Sunjata and Perabo just as there has been chemistry between Geragos and Walker in real life.
