Tuesday night brings the Week 3 results show for Dancing With The Stars and Tom Bergeron will have a special co-host by his side. Erin Andrews is away this week due to a death in her boyfriend's family, and a former fan-favorite professional dancer is stepping in to cover for her temporarily. Kym Johnson is returning for this September 27 show and viewers will be excited to see her back in the “DWTS” ballroom.

What has Kym Johnson been up to since leaving 'DWTS'?

While Kym Johnson is no longer a regular pro on “Dancing With the Stars” anymore, she did end her last spin on the “DWTS” dance floor with a bang: she married her celebrity partner, a first for the long-running franchise.

Viewers loved watching Kym and “Shark Tank” star Robert Herjavec form a sweet bond with one another during Season 20 and this is one romance that lasted beyond the show.

As People details, Kym and Robert got married this past summer and there were numerous “Dancing With the Stars” personalities in attendance. Johnson's former partners Donny Osmond was there, as was former "DWTS" contestant Lance Bass. Another former partner, Carson Kressley, was in the bridal party, as was fellow pro dancer Cheryl Burke.

The 'Dancing With the Stars' pro is back to help out

Entertainment Tonight revealed the news that Kym would be helping Tom out with the hosting duties Tuesday night and this will be her first time stepping into that role.

She has shown up on the “DWTS All Access” broadcasts before, but Johnson's fans are excited to see her snag this opportunity. She has also been a judge on the Australian version of “Dancing With the Stars" and some viewers think she would be great in that type of role on the U.S. version.

American fans would love to see Kym back on “DWTS” here in the States in a more formal capacity again, even though she has indicated that she is done as a pro. Could this co-hosting gig pave the way to something more regular for her again on “Dancing With the Stars”? Erin Andrews will be back next week, but there is little doubt that Kym's fans will be clamoring to see more of her in the weeks ahead if at all possible.
