There's great news for fans of popular "Dancing With The Stars" pro --and newlywed-- Kym Johnson Herjavec: the gorgeous Aussie will stand alongside long-time show host Tom Bergeron during the Sept. 27 live elimination show as his co-host. Johnson Herjavec will step in for regular co-host Erin Andrews, who will be absent from "DWTS" this week as she supports boyfriend Jarret Stoll following the recent loss of his nephew.

Erin Andrews out, Kym Johnson Herjavec in

An ET exclusive confirmed the big news on the afternoon of Sept. 26. The report also confirmed that Bergeron will host tonight's performance show solo while Johnson Herjavec fulfills her duties as co-host of the "DWTS" Live Access show, which runs concurrently with the live show and features interviews with the "Dancing with the Stars" season 23 cast members.

Fans can stream the show online. Andrews is slated toreturn to the show next week for the season's fourth night of action.

A big year for the 'DWTS' champion

It's been a successful year for Johnson Herjavec. The now 40-year old professional dancer met "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec when the two were matched up for "DWTS" season 20 during the spring of 2015. Although they didn't take home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy --that honor went to model and actress Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy-- their relationship grew until Herjavec popped the question in February of this year. The dancer said yes, and the two were married before friends and family on July 31. They chronicled their wedding planning days via a series of People exclusives.

So who does Johnson Herjavec have her eye on during "DWTS" season 23? During a previous interview with ET, she said she was impressed withwhat "Little Women: LA" star Terra Jole and Sasha Farber brought to the table, but was most surprised by IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe, who dances with Sharna Burgess.

To date, Hinchcliffe and Burgess have the scored the second-most judges' points. Only Olympian Laurie Hernandez and Valentin Chmerkovskiy have earned more.

"Dancing with the Stars" 2016 airs tonight at 8 PM Eastern/Pacific. Check out Kym Johnson Herjavec when she co-hosts tomorrow night's results show on ABC.
