It looks like Eden Sassoon may have her work cut out for her when it comes to making friends with the cast of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The newest housewife has joined the cast of the Bravo reality show as a “friend” of the other ladies, which is a polite way of saying she’s not a full timer and may not even be their real friend. Access Hollywood posted video of rhobh veterans Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards, who both made it clear that Sassoon isn’t a full part of their posse—yet.

Friends or Fangirls?

“Eden has come onto the show as a ‘friend,’” Richards said. “ I don’t know if I am allowed to say that, but I just did. Oh well. Time will tell. I don’t think I’m her favorite person to be honest.”

Meanwhile, Vanderpump seems to be a bigger fan of Eden’s famous father—the late beauty guru Vidal Sassoon—than she is of her new co-star.

“You know, you’ll just have to watch the show,” Vanderpump said when asked about her relationship with Sassoon. “That is all I’m gonna give you.

I was a big fan of her dad’s… I’m getting to know her.”

Indeed, Eden Sassoon also has several mutual friends with RHOBH cast member Lisa Rinna and has become very close with the former soap star since filming of the show started. In addition, Eden’s famous father used to dine in Vanderpump’s ritzy restaurants all the time, which explains while Lisa was a fan of his.

Who else has joined the cast?

Eden Sassoon isn’t the only newcomer set to appear on the upcoming 7th season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Fashion designer Dorit Kemsley has also joined the cast, so expect yet another dynamic change.

Vanderpump told Entertainment Tonight that Dorit is actually a friend of hers—for real—so there won’t be any drama between them.

But Lisa shot down any talk of any cameos from former co-star Brandi Glanville this season. Vanderpump said Brandi will “absolutely not” be back on the show.

So, who will be on the show? The Bravo reality show is known for shaking up its cast every season, so it’s no surprise that two of last season’s ladies—Yolanda Foster and Kathryn Edwards—are out.  But in addition to Vanderpump, Richards, Rinna and Sassoon, expect to see veterans Eileen Davidson, and Erika Girardi once again this season, as well as cameos from "RHOBH" alum Camille Grammer, who really has stayed a “friend” of the housewives.

Season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will premiere later this fall on Bravo.
