Yesterday, September 13, was the World Premiere of the film 'Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids' at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Plot.

Directed by Academy Award Winner Jonathan Demme (The Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Neil Young: Heart of Gold) and with the production of Emmy Award Winner Gary Goetzman (Mamma Mia!, Olive Kitteridge), 'Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids' is an original film that documents Justin Timberlake’s final two concerts of his 20/20 Experience World Tour at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, on January 1 and 2.

The film is a culmination of the entertainer’s 134 shows and 2 years on the road. Justin was surrounded by the 25 band members of the Tennessee Kids featuring show-stopping performances from one of the highest-grossing tours of the decade.

Netflix released a short teaser that begins with Justin Timberlake’s voice: 'Tonight, when you’re up there. Look to your right. Look to your left. That’s who the show is for.' Everything from the huge horn section to the tremendous dancing was captured by director Jonathan Demme.

We also get a behind the scenes look at the entertainer and his band, including backup singers and dancers.

Apart from Jonathan Demme and Gary Goetzman; Rocco Caruso, Rick Yorn, Johnny Wright, H. H. Cooper and Michael Rapino serve as Executive Producers and the film was financed by 'Live Nation Productions.'

About Justin Timberlake’s tour

The epic 20/20 Experience World Tour kicked off in November 6, 2013 in New York City and concluded on January 2, 2015, in Las Vegas, reaching worldwide with performances set in five continents.

This tour was the fifth concert launched in support of his third and fourth studio albums, The 20/20 Experience and The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, both from 2013, and had his most successful tour to date. With a gross amount of $232 million from 134 shows and 787 days made Justin Timberlake the highest paid solo touring artist of 2014.

The film will hit Netflix on October 12, later this year.
