Brad Pitt reportedly got involved with Angelina Jolie while filming the 2005 movie, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” At that time, Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston and Pitt’s involvement with Angelina ended their five-year marriage.

Now, after months of rumors in the tabloids and social media that Brangelina’s marriage was on the rocks, the rumors finally came true, leading to endless speculation as to Jennifer’s reaction to the news. Was she jumping up and down with joy, happy to get revenge, or what?

Of course Aniston has been involved with yet another gorgeous hunk, Justin Theroux, since 2011 and the couple officially tied the knot in 2015. Rumors have been circling the tabloids that this marriage is also on the rocks, but for all intents and purposes, Justin and Jennifer appear to be doing just fine.

Justin Theroux makes himself heard

While nothing much has been heard from Jennifer since the Brangelina split news hit the media, the world has now officially heard from Justin. Theroux was interviewed Monday by Business Insider about his latest project, the film “The Girl on the Train” which opens in theaters on October 7.

The star of the TV series, “The Leftovers” made his voice heard on the Brad and Angelina story, saying that, as a child of divorce himself, this is terrible news for the Pitts' six children. He said basically that is all he has to say on the matter and that people are having a bad time, which he says is "horrible." He dislikes the way Aniston is being dragged into the whole story involving Brad and Angelina’s marital problems and that the latest wave of stories in the tabloids involving Jennifer are “nonsense.”

The rumors about Jennifer Aniston are trash, says Justin Theroux

As evidenced by the months of rumors, which happened reportedly before things even started to go wrong for Brad and Angelina, there is what Justin terms an “endless appetite for trash” among the public, even though he says most people would deny it.

However, he said people buy the rumors, as page views soar with every tasteless headline. According to Justin there are far bigger things to worry about and he finds is shocking how much people get out of these gossip tabloid articles, when there are far more important things going on in the world.

As mentioned by People, Brad Pitt, 52 and Angelina Jolie Pitt, 41, after dating for 10 years and finally getting married in 2014, have six children together – three of their own, and three adopted.

As Theroux said, the whole thing is horribly bad news for Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10 and last, but definitely not least, twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.
