Both country music star Jana Kramer and "The Brady Bunch" alum Maureen McCormick have sustained injuries during the opening weeks of "DWTS" season 23, but neither have any intention of throwing in the proverbial towel when it comes to their glittering Mirrorball Trophy dreams, according to recent tweets from both celebrities.

Maureen McCormick's back woes

Like Kramer, McCormick plans to press through the discomfort --which in her case is described as a sharp pain in the lower back-- and on Sept.

24, she rallied fan support with a tweet that read "Salsa=ultimate challenge. @artemchigvintse& I want your vote Monday!"

The Sept. 26 episode of "DWTS" season 23 will see McCormick and Chigvintsev challenging model Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy for an automatic berth in the Oct. 3 live show. Both pairs will perform a spicy salsa.
