When it comes to reality TV competitions, ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" is one of the most physically demanding of the bunch. Both country music star Jana Kramer and "The Brady Bunch" alum Maureen McCormick have sustained injuries during the opening weeks of "DWTS" season 23, but neither have any intention of throwing in the proverbial towel when it comes to their glittering Mirrorball Trophy dreams, according to recent tweets from both celebrities.

Jana Kramer's rib injury

The 32-year old Jana Kramer was the first celeb to sustain an injury during "DWTS" season 23 when she tore muscles between her ribs while rehearsing for the Sept. 19 live show with pro partner Gleb Savchenko. Even after doctors advised that she sit out the competition, the singer and actress pressed onward, and worked through the pain to earn an impressive 29 out of 40 possible points for her "One Tree Hill" themed week two tango.

Kramer has no intention of withdrawing from "Dancing with the Stars," and on Sept.

23, she tweeted a photo of herself undergoing treatment for her injured ribs. She also included text that definitively laid out her plans for the season: "Getting my ribs right and then rehearsing. Can't stop. Won't. Stop. @dancingabc #dwts"

Kramer and Savchenko are slated to go head-to-head with Grammy winner Babyface and Allison Holker via a jive battle during the Sept. 26 live show.

Maureen McCormick's back woes

Also on the "DWTS" season 23 injured list is the 60-year old Maureen McCormick, who suffered a back injury during rehearsals with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev this past week.

Like Kramer, McCormick plans to press through the discomfort --which in her case is described as a sharp pain in the lower back-- and on Sept. 24, she rallied fan support with a tweet that read "Salsa=ultimate challenge. @artemchigvintse & I want your vote Monday!"

The Sept. 26 episode of "DWTS" season 23 will see McCormick and Chigvintsev challenging model Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy for an automatic berth in the Oct.

3 live show. Both pairs will perform a spicy salsa.

Will Jana Kramer and Maureen McCormick continue fighting their respective injuries and earn immunity? Watch "DWTS" season 23 when it resumes on Sept. 26 to find out.
