The "Gilmore Girls" revival is just two months away. Fans have been waiting for this for quite some time now. When the series ended, there were plenty of unanswered questions. Where did Luke and Lorelai stand? Would Rory end up with Logan? The ending was unsatisfying, but that is about to change.

Netflix decided to give the show a four-part revival. All of the old cast members were asked back, including Milo Ventimiglia and Melissa McCarthy. While McCarthy was a last minute deal, the other cast members were eager to give fans what they've been waiting to see for years.

'General Hospital' star signs on

Along with familiar faces from the "Gilmore Girls" cast, you may recognize some other actors. According to We Love Soaps, Carolyn Hennesy will have a recurring role in the four-part revival. Fans may know her from "General Hospital" as Diane Miller. She is the attorney for Jason Morgan and Alexis Davis' best friend. Her quirkiness makes her one of the best characters on "General Hospital" and despite the fact she is no longer a regular, she is still a fan-favorite.

Who will she play?

Carolyn Hennesy will be playing a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), the organization Emily was so much a part of. While it is unclear how much she will be seen in the revival, she is dubbed as a recurring character. This is huge for Hennesy as she has mostly single guest appearances on various television shows. Her acting potential is great and fans are hoping she lands another role like Diane Miller on a show that keeps her around.

As the time grows near for the release of the "Gilmore Girls" revival, many more reports will likely be released about other actors with minimal roles. Fans are anxiously anticipating the conclusion to their show and waiting to find out whether or not Luke and Lorelai are married. There are also some questions about Rory's destiny and who she ended up with. It is most likely Logan though both Dean and Jess will be appearing.

With the actor playing Richard gone, there will be a little sadness as the rest of the show goes on.
