Rumors have been swirling that the Duggar family might be ready to call it quits when it comes to reality television. The family is currently featured on the TLC show “Counting On,” a spinoff that came after “19 Kids and Counting” was canceled. A recent post on the Duggar blog, however, works to put an end to the latest rumors.

The Duggar family addresses the rumors

Advertisers have been pulling out of “Counting On” left and right, and some reports had emerged indicating that the Duggar siblings involved in the show had been butting heads with parents Jim Bob and Michelle over their desire to end the show.

Many who follow the family and the series find that a bit hard to believe, and now a blog post from the “19 Kids” crew works to put the buzz to rest.

The recent post references the rumors that the Duggars are ready to quit reality television, and they write, “Is it true? Not in the slightest.” The post goes on to note that “Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's child[ren] have no plans to leave TLC.” Granted, TLC has some say in this matter as well, as declining ratingsand issues with the advertisers may well provide drive a change when it comes to the network deciding whether to greenlight a third season, points out the Hollywood Gossip.

Would the Duggars really walk away with so much good news on the way?

There has been a lot of news to follow in the latest episodes of “Counting On,” with Jinger's engagement to Jeremy Vuolo, Ben and Jessa's second baby on the way, and Jill, Derick, and Israel's return from Central America. Josh has not been in the mix of things in the new series due to the scandals he caused that led to the cancellation of “19 Kids and Counting,” but there has been some buzz that he may start popping up publicly and maybe even on the show in the days ahead.
