Orpheus (George DelHoyo)has a sorted past on Days Of Our Lives. He was on the show way back in 1986 and 1987. He was once a partner to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) in the ISA. The two were on a mission to fight the KGB when there was a terrible accident. Roman heard footsteps and called out for the person to speak up but didn't get a response. Hemistakenly thought it was a KGB agent and shot in that directiononly to realize he had killed Orpheus' wife.

What made Orpheus change?

Roman was devastated when he realized what had happened.

Orpheus, however, was deadset on revenge because he believed Roman had killed his wife intentionally. He left the ISA and became an arch enemy to Roman. Many fans say he becamemore devious than Stefano.

There were several face offs between Orpheus and Roman. Once back in Salem, however, Orpheus put Roman's wife, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) in danger as part of his revenge. He blew up their home. Roman thought Marlena died in the explosion when in fact Orpheus had kidnapped her! He hid her on a private island where he forced her to be a stand in mother to his children.

The vicious battle between the two finally came to an end when Roman found Orpheus on an island. After a shootout Roman thought he had killed Orpheus but his body was never found. In one last cruel twist, Orpheus had staged a plane crash that Roman thought had taken Marlena's life. His plan had been so intricate that Roman was emotionally tormented by Orpheus.

Where has Orpheus been?

Once Orpheus vanished he landed in prison where he has been for 30 years.

As fate would have it he met up with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Clyde Weston (James Read) while behind bars. The terrible trio manage to escape from prison and return to Salem.Orpheus is hell-bent on revenge and wants to go on a killing spree. John Brady (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena are the real targets but when he busts in on a wedding, Eve (Kassie DePavia) is the first one he sees and he puts a gun on her.
