Tonight's "Dancing With The Stars" season 23 elimination show kicked off with a brief recap of all the couples' dances that took place for the first two weeks. They started the recaps off with couples:  James Hinchcliffe & Sharna Burgess, Calvin Johnson Jr. & Lindsay Arnold, Amber Rose & Maks Chmerkovskiy, Terra Jolé & Sasha Farber, and Rick Perry & Emma Slater.

The recaps continued

After that, they showed some recaps from Babyface & Allison Holker, Jana Kramer & Gleb Savchenko and Vanilla Ice & Witney Carson. Next, they showed more recap footage, featuring couples: Ryan Lochte & Cheryl Burke and Laurie Hernandez & Val Chmerkovskiy.


They started revealing who was safe tonight

They revealed that Laurie & Val and  Rick & Emma were safe, followed by Marilu & Derek. Then, unfortunately, poor Maureen & Artem found at that they had landed in jeopardyville. Next, they revealed that Babyface & Allison were safe tonight and that poor Ryan & Cheryl landed in the jeopardy box. After that, musician , Charlie Puth, hit up the stage to sing his new song: “We Don’t Talk Anymore.”

They continued to reveal who was safe

They revealed that Calvin and Lindsay Arnold were safe this week, along with Vanilla Ice & Witney and James & Sharna. Unfortunately, Jake & Jenna learned that they didn't quite cut it either and had landed in jeopardy.

They featured some special performances

We saw Derek and Cheryl hit up the stage to perform a special routine with Allison, Artem and Jenna. After that, singer Gavin DeGraw hit up the stage to sing his single: “She Sets the City on Fire.” After another break, they let us know that couples: Terra & Sasha and Jana Kramer & Gleb were safe this week, and that poor Amber & Maksim fell into the jeopardy barrel.

The eliminated couple was revealed

Finally, they got around to revealing that everyone was actually safe, except for poor Jake T. Austin & Jenna Johnson.


So, they had to hit the road, Jack. On the Monday night, September 26th show, the remaining couples will battle it out in a pairs face-off, and apparently, the winning couple is supposed to get another one of those lame immunity prizes, so they can't get eliminated on the following Tuesday night elimination show.
