Last night's episode of "Dancing With The Stars" 2016 featured the 13 celebrity/professional pairs hoofing it to the sounds of iconic TV show theme songs. With just two weeks of competition in the books, one unfortunate pair will fall victim to elimination during tonight's "DWTS" results show on ABC. So who's probably safe to strut their stuff again next week and who might consider bringing their bags to the ballroom?

The 'should be safe' squad: "Dancing with the Stars" 2016 results prediction

A healthy group of hopefuls should pass safely to week three following the "DWTS" results show, based on their fan bases and scores from the first few nights of action.

Leading the way --and probably least likely of all to face elimination-- is Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez, who topped judges' Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli's leaderboard both weeks, and enters the results show with 63 of 80 possible points under her belt. The teen and pro partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy should slide effortlessly into week three.

Also unlikely to go anywhere are IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess, who have notched 60 judges' points to date.

Hinchcliffe and Burgess may have been the only couple to see a score drop from week one to week two, but they still earned 29 points for their "Walking Dead" paso doble, which was good enough for a share of fourth place on the week two leaderboard. Expect them to advance easily.

Other couples unlikely to find themselves under the red glow of the "Dancing with the Stars" 2016 results show lights include Reality TV star Terra Jole and Sasha Farber, whose inspired "Bewitched" number landed them in second place last night; Grammy winner Babyface and Allison Holker; actress Marilu Henner and Derek Hough; singer Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko; and former NFL star Calvin Johnson Jr. (also known as Megatron) and Lindsay Arnold.

All four pairs have impressed the judges, and seem to have strong fan bases eager to see them continue on in the competition.

The 'maybe' list

These couples could very well advance safely to week three following the "Dancing with the Stars" 2016 results show tonight, but their slightly lower scores required an uptick in fan voting that may or may not have happened. Included are rapper Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson, who have earned 51 points; and a trio of pairs who have all scored a total of 48 points: "The Brady Bunch" alum Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev; Olympian Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke; and model Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Given the popularity of Chmerkovskiy and the recent notability of Lochte, Vanilla Ice and McCormick are likely the most vulnerable pair in this group.

Trouble looms for these pairs during the "DWTS" results show

With the fewest judges' points awarded, two couples stand the biggest chance of being sent packing tonight. Most likely to fall victim to to elimination are former Texas governor Rick Perry and Emma Slater, who have a paltry 42 points to their team name. The other potentially endangered pairing is that of Disney actor Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson, who own 44 points.

In addition to their comparatively lower scores, neither Austin nor Perry have the entertainment world star power that will bolster the campaigns of many of their fellow competitors.

Is a surprise in store for viewers or will a low-scoring couple get the boot? Tune in to the "Dancing with the Stars" 2016 results show tonight on ABC to find out.
