World renowned magician Criss Angel hosted a star-studded Gala event on Sept. 12 at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, in an effort to help make pediatric cancer disappear. This charity event featured live performances, multiple celebrity cameos, as well as silent auctions and live auctions respectively.

This initiative was a part of Criss Angel HELP (Help Every Life Possible). This cause is dear to the superstar magician's heart since his two-year-old son, Johnny Crisstopher Sarantakos, has been battling leukemia since last year.

Most impressive about this Gala was that Angel'sson Johnny was in attendance, along with Johnny's mother, Australian musician Shaunyl Benson.

Johnnywalked down the gold carpet with both of his parents.

Special guests featured at the event

Other Celebrities who were a part of this event included actor Gary Oldman, Dee Snider (the lead singer of Twisted Sister), Richie Sambora (the former lead guitar player of Bon Jovi),Vince Neil (the lead singer of Motley Crue), Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Flavor Flav of Public Enemy, veteran musician Tony Orlando, stand-up comic Andrew Dice Clay, as well as boxing champ Mike Tyson, among countless others; moreover, fellow magicians Chloe Crawford, Mateo Amieva ("The Great Maestro") and Penny Wiggins ("Fifi") from Angel's hit magic productions "Mindfreak Live!" and "The Supernaturalists" were also a part of this charity event.

Dee Snider belts out hard rock hit

Dee Snider also sang an empowering live version of his Twisted Sister hit 'We're Not Gonna Take It,' where he was joined bysuchmusicians as Richie Sambora, Sebastian Bach (formerly of Skid Row) and guitarist Orianthi. Snider filmed a new acoustic music video for his classic song, which was directed by Criss Angel himself, and it featured cameos from both Angel and Johnny.

All of the proceeds from this fundraiser go towards pediatric cancer treatment and research in an effort to find a cure. Angel consistently performs 10 'Mindfreak Live!' shows each week at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and he dedicates a special part of his act to those children whoare suffering from cancer.
