It is no doubt that Simone Biles has a lot of fans since her gold medal wins in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. She has one celebrity superfan that wanted to meet her. After promoting Magic Mike on the Ellen show, Channing Tatum got a chance to meet his gymnast idol.  Ellen Degeneres  has a unique way of making people's dreams come true.

Tatum was no exception. Ellen made it possible for the 36-year-old actor to meet the 19-year-old Olympic individual all-around, vault and floor gold medalist. In other words, Ellen introduced the six-foot-one actor to the four-foot-nine Olympic athlete.

Channing Tatum's Theory

While waiting to meet Simone, Channing chatted with Ellen.

The Magic Mike star related that he and his wife, Jenna, watched the gymnast during every one of her competitions at the recent Olympic games. Then Channing explained his theory about Simone's toes, gravity and why she can fly through the air the way she does.

Ellen laughed when Channing said Simone is so tiny that she has a hard time holding onto the ground. He concluded that it has something to do with her strong toes that help her stay on the ground instead of flying away. Channing said Simone is the greatest of all time.

Channing Tatum becomes human display case

Just for his idol, Tatum stands on a podium and becomes a human display case for the gold medals she won in Rio. Two medals were hanging from each arm. Biles couldn't help from laughing when she saw Tatum displaying her medals on both arms.

She took one and put it around his neck. She did the same for Ellen. Then the three of them took a selfie together.

Channing and Simone had never met before. Channing was more nervous about meeting the gymnast for the first time than she was about meeting the actor. It is usually the opposite with Celebrities and fans.  In fact, we found out while she was in Rio that her celebrity crush is the actor Zac Efron. The 28-year surprised Simone and took her and her team out for pizza when he visited them in Rio.

The Summer Olympic Games have been over for a few weeks now, but Simone and her teammates are still in the news. Biles, along with her fellow teammate, Gabby Douglas, are the only U.S. gymnasts to win both the individual all-around gold and team gold at the same Olympic game. Simone won both in the recent 2016 Rio games, and Gabby won both in the 2012 London games.

She represented Team USA when she was the flag bearer at the closing ceremonies. She was the first American female gymnast to be given that honor. She was concerned because of her height and the weight of the flag pole. Channing Tatum's theory might be right. Her strong toes probably aided in keeping her on the ground.
