Firstly, Brad Pitt will be staying away from the first IMAX screening of the documentary “Voyage of Time,” in which he performs the narration. He said he does not want to distract attention away from the “extraordinary film,” and says everyone should see it. Terrence Malick’s documentary is, according to Pitt, a unique and beautiful film which chronicles the birth of time and he encourages families and children to watch the documentary, which was reportedly 30 years in the making.

Brad told "E! News" how grateful he was to be involved in such a fascinating project, adding that as he is currently more focused on his family situation, it is best he stay away from the premiere.

For interest, a trailer for "Voyage of Time" is included, end of article.

Brad Pitt wants privacy, away from the media

Since the news of the impending Brangelina divorce hit the headlines last Tuesday, media speculation has been going wild. Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent 12 years together in total, and were married in 2014. Reportedly Brad hasn’t seen the children since Angelina filed for divorce, but he sincerely hopes that they can work things out, without constant media scrutiny and speculation.

"Vanity Fair" reports that Angelina also made a statement that she will always do what is in the best interests of her family and hopes everyone understands their need for privacy in the matter.

When filing for divorce, Jolie asked for sole physical custody of the couple’s children, offering Pitt visitation rights.

However, a source told "E! News" that Pitt really wants to see the children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne – and to work out an arrangement that will be best for them, amicably and privately.

As reported by "Vanity Fair," soon after the divorce papers were filed, a story hit the media that the Department of Children and Family Services for Los Angeles County were investigating allegations that Brad Pitt had been involved in an incident with one of the children on their private plane.

While media reports alleged abuse, reportedly representatives for both parties have declined to comment, although a source did say that Brad takes the matter seriously, but says he did not abuse any of his children.

Brad Pitt is cooperating fully with authorities

According to another source, Brad is fully cooperating with authorities on the matter and will continue to do what is best for the children, adding that they are his only concern and that he wants to keep the whole thing private to protect them.
