Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth fell in love and got engaged last year on ABC's The Bachelorette,” and they have been living together ever since. Fans are anxious to find out when the two will be getting married and she just addressed this in her recent blog post. What's the scoop?

Are Shawn and Kaitlyn planning a wedding yet?

“The Bachelorette” fans may have been skeptical of Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth's engagement at the time, but they have stuck together and haveproven their skeptics wrong.

After the finale they spent some time together in Bristowe's home country of Canada, then Bristowe moved to Nashville to be with him and they've been together ever since. They have spent quite a bit of time vacationing in Canada this summer and both continue to do a number of promotional appearances. What about the wedding though?

Shawn and Kaitlyn had said many times that they would begin planning their big day after the beginning of the year, but afterJanuary they would respond to the question by simply noting that things have been too busy.

"The Bachelorette" lovebirds seem to be doing well together and theyclearly aren't putting pressure on themselves to move at a pace other than what works for them.

'The Bachelorette' stars says nuptials are on the way

In her latest blog post on her website, Kaitlyn does mention a little tidbit about a wedding. She says that she and Shawn “haven't set a wedding date just yet,” but adds that “we've been bouncing around ideas and it's in our cards for the near future.” Much of Bristowe's post is about her transition to a healthier lifestyle, which she says is in great part due to wanting to feel her best on her wedding day.

Fans will have to wait and see when and if Booth and Bristowe do get married, but it is encouraging for “Bachelorette” fans to hear that they are moving closer to holding the big event. Will Kaitlyn and Shawn's wedding be televised on ABC? It seems like the two would appreciate if offered the opportunity.

However, they have also been rather vocal via Twitter over the past few months in pointing out that they feel as if they've somehow become the black sheep of “Bachelor Nation.”

There are several other franchise couples that are still together and doing well, and fans are hopeful that multiple weddings are in the works. Will Shawn and Kaitlyn wed before JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers or Carly Waddell and Evan Bass, given the fact that both of those pairs are already teasing weddings on the way?

Do you think that Shawn Booth and Kaitlyn Bristowe will get married? Will ABC embrace the opportunity to televise this “Bachelorette” wedding or will the two be left to do it all on their own?
