After twelve years together and two years of marriage, the most iconic Hollywood couple has decided to divorce. Angelina Jolie (41) and Brad Pitt (52) are separated due to irreconcilables differences. The first reason released was that the divorce has to do with a bad family life, and not with infidelity issues. Angelina does not agree with the way Brad educates their children, she says that he has a bad temper and spends little time with their kids. The actress believes that her children are more important than her work and even her partner.

The children

Angelina and Brad are parents of six children: Maddox (15), Pax (13) Zahara (11), Shiloh (10), Vivienne and Knox (8, twins). The star wants full custody of their kids and the actor wants joint custody. She thinks he is not a good father because he drinks alcohol and takes other harmful substances. The actress had drugs problems in the past, but she overcame them when she started working in humanitarian causes, then became a mother and she has since changed her life forever.

The pair had very different styles when educating their children: she was permissive and Brad was strict.

Angelina never chastised their children, however Brad was stern with them. Then she filed for divorce because the family was not working well and believes that separation is the best solution. The actor is furious with her because she is portraying him as a drug addict and alcoholic in the media, Brad recognizes only occasionally smoking.

Prenuptial agreement

The couple signed a prenuptial agreement that says that in case of divorce each one gets the fortune they had before marriage and the money won by both during the marriage is split between their six children.

The pair has an estimated net worth of 400 million dollars, without taking into account the various properties they have around the world. In the last hours the media spoke of an alleged infidelity of the actor with French actress Marion Cotillard, but that's not the only reason for the divorce.
