The Walking Dead has seen a villain in nearly every season. However, none have been as anticipated as Negan. There are plenty of TWD spoilers claiming what to expect from Jeffrey Dean Morgan's character. Recently, executive producer Gale Anne Hurd gave one more tidbit. She explained what exactly makes him the villain of all villains.

Negan enjoys hurting people

There has been no other character in The Walking Dead quite like Negan. It isn't just his personality or barbed wire baseball bat, which he nicknamed Lucille. It has more to do with his purpose, his mission, his end goal. Fans that have read Robert Kirkman's comic books know that real terror is coming and Negan truly enjoys inflicting pain on his victims.

'The Walking Dead' villain has no justification for his actions

With the Governor, Joe and the Claimers, and even Terminus, the TWD villains had a reason for their actions. Sometimes the purpose didn't make much sense to viewers, but the villains felt justified by what they did. Don't expect that with Negan. According to executive producer Gale Anne Hurd's interview with E! News, the character has no justification, lacks remorse, and does not have a conscience. This makes him even more dangerous than fans initially believed. A man who has guilt and emotions can be reasoned or bargained with. This is not the case with Negan. He is a narcissistic, brain-crushing, attention-seeking zombie apocalypse commander.

There are rumors that there may be two characters killed. As fans know, in the comic books, Glenn Rhee is the one murdered by Negan. It is unclear if the Television show will follow the same pattern. However, sources claim that both Steven Yeun and Michael Cudlitz have not been seen on set since the first episode was filmed. If this is true, then say goodbye to Glenn and Abraham when TWD returns.
