Maci Bookout is speaking out after being accused of drinking while pregnant with her third baby, son Maverick Reed McKinney. According to a recent report, the 25-year-old reality star addressed the pregnancy criticism, along with other ongoing rumors swirling on social media.

"I never pay attention to any of the comments or press or anything like that, I never have," Bookout said, according to a report by In Touch Weekly. She also compared rumors to a "dark hole" that she wants no parts of.

Maci Bookout was surprised by her third pregnancy

Just months after welcoming her first child with fiance Taylor McKinney, daughter Jayde Carter McKinney, Bookout revealed she was expecting on Instagram and later said that she did not plan the pregnancy.

At the same time, she announced that she was far enough along in the pregnancy to know her baby would be a boy. Months later, in May of this year, just one day after Jayde Carter turned 1, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney welcomed son Maverick Reed McKinney.

Bookout is also mom to 7-year-old Bentley from her previous relationship with Ryan Edwards. As Teen Mom OG fans may have heard, Edwards recently told fans on Twitter that he was going to be a dad again but quickly deleted the tweets, which left many wondering whether or not he was secret. He has also stayed quiet since his tweet was shared.

Maci Bookout would never drink while pregnant

Despite rumors and photos which seemed to prove that Bookout had been drinking prior to her pregnancy announcement, Bookout denied any such thing. "I know me, and everybody that really knows me, knows that I would not be drinking while I was pregnant," she explained. Maci Bookout may like to party when she's having free time for her kids, but thus far, she's given no reason for anyone to think she would intentionally do harm to any of her children.

Maci Bookout and her co-stars, including Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Farrah Abraham, will be seen next week during the sixth season of Teen Mom OG on Monday, August 22, at 10 p.m.
