Mama June Shannon, pageant mom and reality TV star of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" lost a lot of weight, around 150 pounds. Now post-weight loss, Shannon wanted TV docs on the E! "Botched" series to fix her botched C-section which didn't follow up with the tummy tuck she was told she would get. That's a plus-sized order from the still plus-sizedMama June. Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif didn't repair the C-section but they did fix some incorrect thinking about C-section child birth and tummy tuck plastic surgery.

Mama June says with C-section you get tummy tuck

E! "Botched" isn't just about doing plastic surgery but correcting people's past surgery fails. Most of the participants on the show have undergone some form of cosmetic surgery that went wrong. Sometimes patients have just had too much surgery and Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif attempt to repair that. After dramatic weight loss, Shannon has had plastic surgery to correct a recalcitrant double chin. Other celebs like Carrie Underwood have had plastic surgery to fix what weight loss didn't.

This time Mama June wanted TV doctors to correct a tummy tuck, or lack thereof. In the pre-interview, she attempted to explain to the physicians that the doctor that delivered Honey Boo Boo (her last child) said that other doctors who had done C-section surgery for her other kids hadn't finished the job. Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif were confused and then shocked when they understood that by "unfinished" Mama June meant that doctors hadn't done an additional postpartum tummy tuck.

Dr. Dubrow: Postpartum worst time for tummy tuck

Horrified "Botched" doctors quickly disabused Mama June Shannon of the notion that previous maternity doctors had somehow failed by not including the tummy tuckafter C-section. They may have failed by cutting Honey Boo Boo's head as Shannon accuses, but that's another story. Shaking his head in disbelief, Dr. Dubrow said that after a C-section or delivering a baby is the worst time forplastic surgery.

He didn't even think it was possible given that the abdominal muscles are all stretched out of shape immediately after birth and for some time afterwards. Said surgery would definitely not be a complimentary add-on after having a baby! But full props to Shannon for trying to get the most for her obstetrician buck and for her hard work at weight loss.
