Kim Richards is reportedly demanding a $1.5 million salary for appearing on the 7th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As production on the Bravo reality series continues, a source claims Richards wants a raise from her previous payday after learning that her longtime co-star, Lisa Vanderpump, makes a whopping $2 million per year to appear on the reality series, as well as its spinoff, Vanderpump Rules.

“She believes she should get $1.5 million per season, with additional money for appearing at the reunion,” an insider told Life & Style on August 4. But, as the source revealed, Richards will only be seen in a friend role on the show's upcoming season.

Kim Richards was demoted after 'RHOBH' season five

Following the 5th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Richards suffered an alcohol relapse and was arrested twice. Months later, it was confirmed she had beenremoved from her full-time role on the show.Around the same time, Brandi Glanville's role on the show was demoted and before filming on season six began, the network opted for two new housewives, Kathryn Edwards and Erika Girardi.

While Richards may never return to her full-time role on the show, she is demanding the salary of a full-time player, despite filming substantially less. “She wouldn’t even make $150,000 for that,” saidthe insider.

Producers aren't expectedto meet Kim Richards' demands

“[Kim Richards]believes that there is simply no drama without her,” the source said. But is she right?

During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season six, the main drama of the show was based around Yolanda Foster and her Lyme disease, as well as Lisa Rinna's feud with Lisa Vanderpump.

In fact, Richards was only seen during a handful of episodes and when she was seen, her only drama appeared to be with Rinna, who clearly had bigger issues to fry when it came to the issues of the show.

“Kim is absolutely delusional if she thinks producers are going to give her anywhere near Lisa’s huge paycheck,” the insider added.
