Katie Maloney recently spoke of the impact that Bravo cameras have had on her personal life. As the Vanderpump Rules star prepares to marry her longtime love Tom Schwartz, Maloney spoke out on Twitter about the speediness in which couples on Bachelor in Paradise fall for one another and commented on her own experiences with living out a relationship on a reality show.

After noting that the ABC reality series must be a "black hole" or "time warp," Maloney asked her fans and followers how relationships on Bachelor in Paradise "accelerate this quickly." In response, a fan tweeted back to the reality star, saying that love takes time and adding that it must be hard to have deep and meaningful relationships with cameras around 24/7.

"It doesn't help!" Katie Maloney wrote back in regard to the constantly prying eye of a film crew. "I know from experience but then again I didn't meet my bub on TV. But I still know better.. "

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz have been dating for the entirety of 'Vanderpump Rules'

When the Bravo reality series began airing in January of 2013, Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz were one of three main couples, with the other two being Stassi Schroeder and former boyfriend Jax Taylor, and Kristen Doute and former boyfriend Tom Sandoval.

However, four seasons later, they are the only couple left standing.

During Vanderpump Rules season four, Maloney, who had been expressing her desire to get married for several months, received the proposal of her dreams when Schwartz got down on bended knee during a cast birthday dinner and presented her with a diamond ring created by Kyle Chan (Schwartz picked out the ring during a visit with Chan which was also attended by Scheana Marie Shay's husband, Mike, who had proposed to Scheana during season two).

Although fans will have to wait and see whether or not Katie Maloney and her soon-to-be-husband opt to tie the knot on camera as the Shays did during season three of Vanderpump Rules, there's a good chance they will as filming is in the midst of production on season five.
