Fans and insiders are all buzzing over the news that Nick Viall is going to be ABC's The Bachelor 2017 lead. He had tried to find love on both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe's Bachelorette seasons, coming in second both times, and he has been on Season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise this summer as well. This big announcement came as a major shock to just about everybody and fans are curious to know what Kaitlyn Bristowe and Andi Dorfman think of the decision.

Kaitlyn Bristowe wishes Nick Viall luck as The Bachelor

As Us Weekly details, Kaitlyn Bristowe is saying that she's very happy for Nick Viall, that she thinks everybody deserves to find somebody, and she hopes it works out for him.

The Bachelorette fans will remember that Nick showed up after Bristowe's season had already started and his arrival led to some intense dramatics.

Viall butted heads with Shawn Booth, Kaitlyn's now-fiance, in particular, and things got rather heated. Since then, however, Shawn and Nick have seemingly smoothed things over to a degree. For his part, Booth hasn't tweeted any kind of reaction to the announcement, but Bristowe joked about having just popped popcorn and tuning into The Simpsons, wondering what she had missed.

What about former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman? So far, she has not shared anything via Twitter regarding her thoughts. Her name has come up frequently this summer on Bachelor in Paradise given the fact that both Nick and Josh Murray, Andi's former pick, are in Mexico and there has been a lot of talk about her book.

Andi Dorfman previously shared her thoughts

While Dorfman hasn't shared her thoughts over the official Bachelor announcement yet, last year while Nick was in the running she did open up to Us Weekly about her thoughts. At the time, she said that she believed that Viall was genuine in what he wanted and that what he wanted was love. Andi added that she did think that Viall had sincere intentions in wanting to find love on the show. So, despite some rough moments between them during the “After the Final Rose” special, Dorfman seemed relatively willing to endorse him as a lead pick at the time.

Will Nick Viall finally find love after his spin as The Bachelor for the 2017 season this winter? The decision to pick him over supposed frontrunners Luke Pell and Chase McNary has viewers buzzing and people will be anxious to see how things play out in Season 21.
